A Day in the Park – Gardening

The OMID team will hold a gardening activity at the park for the elders. This activity will encourage participants to enjoy the outdoors and play games and plant flowers using a gardening kit together. This will essentially improve mood and motor skills and help with memory and brain health development. Being in nature and outdoors creates calmness and being with other people to socialize will make participants feel happy and less stressed. Afterwards, participants will be able to take their newly potted plants home.
