Impact of Mental Health on LGBTQ2S+ Folks: A Mental Health Community Teach-in

June 16, 2022 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Mental health is more important now than ever before. While belonging to the LGBTQ2S+ community can be a source of strength, it also brings unique challenges. For those who identify as LGBTQ2S+, it’s important to recognize how sexual orientation and gender identity relates to mental health. As we celebrate Pride Month, the LGBTQ Center OC wants to invite you to participate in our community teach-in centered on the impact of mental health on LGBTQ2S+ folx. By making an effort to spread mental health awareness and education, we can work to de-stigmatize how we think about, approach, and identify mental health issues in our society, especially how it impacts LGBTQ2S+ youth and people.
